SOH Stage Studio – guide to the Stagelights.cz app for equipment rental

SOH Stage Studio at stagelights.cz is the online catalogue of our lighting, sound and stage equipment rental. You choose equipment, the app calculates the rental price for your dates and prepares an inquiry. It also offers an AI stage visualization, a DMX patch list and an MVR 3D scene for your lighting console. It runs in the browser and needs no registration.

Quick start: from selection to inquiry

1. Open stagelights.cz/en and find equipment by category or name.
2. Use + on a card or + Add to list in the detail to add a product to My list.
3. In the list, set the quantities and the rental period. The total price for your dates is shown right away.
4. Optionally create an AI visualization, a DMX patch list or an MVR 3D scene.
5. Click Rent and send the inquiry by e-mail. The list, dates and prices are filled in for you.

1. Catalogue and search

The catalogue contains the equipment we rent out. It is divided into Lighting, Sound, DJ, Fog Machines, Stands, Projectors, Controllers and Accessories. You can search by name and narrow the results by parameters with Filter. Sorting options are Recommended, Price, Alphabetically, Manufacturer, Power, Weight and DMX channel count. Each card shows the price for 1–2 days of rental. The English version shows prices in EUR.

2. Product detail

Clicking a card opens the detail with a description, parameters and price. It links to the manual and video. For lights, console files are available too: GDTF profile, DMX chart (TXT), Avolites Titan profile and grandMA2 profile. For lights with several DMX modes (for example 10CH, 12CH and 20CH) you choose the mode that the DMX patch list then uses. From the detail you can add the product to your list, start a visualization, show its DMX channels or ask the AI. Links and files are shown only for products that have them.

Every product also has its own page (for example stagelights.cz/en/product/…). It shows a rental price table by duration, downloads and similar products.

3. My list: quantities, dates and price

Open the My list panel with the button at the top right. Change the quantity of each item with − and +, or remove it. After you enter the Rental period, the app calculates the total for all days and the average per day. Your browser remembers the list, so you can come back to it later. From the panel you continue to AI visualization, DMX, Ask AI or the inquiry (Rent).

Prices in the app include VAT.

4. Rental inquiry

The Rent button in the list offers two options:

• Send yourself opens a message to SOH rental (pronajem@soh.cz) in your e-mail program. It contains the items, quantities, dates, prices and a link to your list. You can edit it before sending.
• Check via AI has the inquiry checked and sent by the AI assistant.

5. AI stage visualization

The AI Stage Visualizer creates an image or a short video of a stage using the equipment in your list. Choose a scene type: Concert, Festival, Club, Theatre, Corporate, Wedding, Photomontage or Social media. Image models also offer Datasheet, Wiring diagram, Equipment and Stage plot. The prompt is generated from the selected products and you can edit it. You can upload a photo of your venue and add an audience. Then choose the AI model for image or video, the resolution and the aspect ratio.

Generation has a daily limit. The current limit and how long visualizations are kept are listed in the guide inside the app. The result is an AI illustration of your setup, not a technical drawing.

6. AI chat

The AI Chat button opens the SOH AI assistant. Describe your event and it recommends equipment from the catalogue, or ask it about products. The bin icon clears the conversation.

7. DMX patch list

The DMX button in the list opens the DMX patch list for the whole setup. The header shows total channels, number of items, items without DMX and the address range. Each light gets addresses by its order in the list and the selected DMX mode: the first unit for example CH 1–10, the second CH 11–20. Each channel shows its function and value ranges. Copy the patch list to the clipboard or export it to TXT or CSV (the CSV also includes the universe). The MVR 3D button leads to the 3D scene export.

8. MVR 3D scene

The MVR export page builds a 3D scene from your list and saves it as an .mvr file for visualization and lighting software (for example grandMA3, Capture or WYSIWYG). You work in steps: Fixtures, Placement, Stage and structure, Order and DMX, and Program. There are 23 placement variants and 9 program profiles. A live 3D preview shows perspective and plan view. Only lights with a GDTF profile are placed in the scene; other items are marked “no GDTF”. Generate MVR creates the file with fixtures, DMX patch and structure. Sample MVR files are available to try. Settings are saved in your browser as you go.

Sharing a setup by link

The inquiry e-mail contains a link that opens the same list. You can send it to colleagues or your technician. A setup can also be written directly into the address:

Separate several products with a comma, for example cart=LEDFLATPAR:8,JBLEON612:2.

What you gain when renting

• Price up front: you see the price for your whole rental period before you send an inquiry, including discounts for longer rentals.
• An exact inquiry: the e-mail contains the items, quantities, dates and a link to the list, so nothing needs retyping.
• Files for technicians: DMX addresses, console profiles and the MVR 3D scene are ready before the equipment arrives.
• A picture for your client: the AI visualization shows the organiser or client what the stage can look like.
• One setup for everyone: the same link opens the list for you, your colleagues and our rental team.
